API does not provide fullfilment line items when pulling all invoice data

Hello,
We are using the API to pull fulfillment data so that we can automate the fulfillment process. We do not seem to see fulfillment line items which need to be fulfilled. Is this behavior we should expect or is there a way to see all the data?
